He studied at the G. Verdi Conservatory with U. Oliveti. After specializing with F. Cusano, Z. Gilels, A. Brussilowsky, M. Jokanovich, M. Sirbu, F. Rossi, he began a brilliant solo and chamber music career that led him to collaborate with prestigious ensembles and distinguished musicians, performing in the most important halls around the world.
Numerous recordings for Decca, Velut Luna, Tactus.Teldec. In 2004 he received 4 stars for the CD on the works of Martucci and Sgambati for violin and piano in duo with Lucia Pittau. He has collaborated as concertmaster or first part with important orchestras such as: I Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra Toscanini dell‘Emilia Romagna, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Bergamo Musica Festival Teatro Donizetti, Musica Riva Festival and others.
He is the first violin of the QuartettOCMantova, a quartet of the Mantua Chamber Orchestra, an Italian excellence in the world. He has held Masterclasses and recitals in the USA, has been a jury member in numerous national and international music performance competitions.
He is currently a professor of Chamber Music and Quartet at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
